Loans for self-employed borrowers

Having owned my own small business for over 10 years, I have in-depth knowledge of what self-employed people need from a mortgage broker and how their circumstances differ from other borrowers. I have extensive experience of MYOB and BAS completions and I know my way around a set of accounts which is a good start! Never a straightforward process, securing a loan can be quite daunting and frustrating for self-employed clients and I enjoy being able to take them through the process and ‘think outside the box’.

Refinancing is a speciality of mine as I love to find a better deal for my clients and save them money. Even a few dollars a week can add up quickly and make some hefty differences to the loan over a period of years. I have reorganised finances for countless clients with owner-occupier and investment loans to allow them to maximise on the equity in their home to build for the future.

Self managed super funds (SMSFs)

Self managed superannuation fund loans are another area I can help in. Many shy away from this type of finance as being ‘too complicated’ but I can make it an easy and fruitful process and have personal experience with my own self managed funds.

First home buyers and those first time buyers requiring parental assistance in the form of a family pledge are both areas I have a great deal of experience in. Living in the Northern Beaches of Sydney I see many young people being priced out of the market and know that their parents are looking for a way to support them in their property vision. I owned a couple of properties as a single girl before I married and found it very satisfying. I love being able to help ladies achieve this kind of independence.
