Self-employed borrowers
As I am self-employed myself, I understand the difficulties that can sometimes occur and am quick to assess their needs, whether tax returns are available or not. I believe the most common issue I find with self-employed applicants is their accountants are so good at lodging their tax returns that the income they produce is little or none, so with my experience and background in commerce, I am able to better understand the financial statements and add back as much income as possible to better service the debt and achieve a more suitable interest rate. By having access to specialist self-employed lenders I can always achieve the common goal, which is to borrow as much as possible!
Investors
I really enjoy helping people create wealth and setting up the right loan structure is so important when it comes to investment loans. I truly believe that when purchasing your first or tenth investment property, there needs to be a strategic plan in place that maximise the tax offsets available. I have over time been able to structure many investment loans to better suit outgoing cash flow for my customers, them inturn living a fruitful and comfortable life, whilst still having a strong property portfolio behind them.
My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Angela Cornell twice now on securing residential investment loans, and she has always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for us. Refinances and debt consolidation
It is so easy to gather small loans…interest free, credit cards, personal loans. By consolidating your loans into one repayment, you can reduce your repayments by hundreds of dollars. Just always remember if possible not to extend your loan to another 30 years, otherwise you will forever be paying off your mortgage.
Renovations
If you want that new kitchen or upgrade to your bathroom, talk to me about consolidating debt and borrowing a little more to do the renovations. Depending on how your current lending is structured (cards, home loans, personal loans, leasing, etc.), you may even be able to save money on monthly repayments just by reducing rate or restructuring the loan.
Non-resident lending for overseas buyers
I have organised many non-residents loans and after specialising in this field for quite a few years, I understand which lenders are the easiest to deal with! Whether you are an expat wanting to buy an investment property in Sydney, or living in Australia and not an Australian resident and wanting to buy your first home, the opportunities are endless, you just need to know where to look. Calls in the middle of the night are something I am quite used to from off shore residents!

I do most loans – full doc, low doc, no doc, non conforming, non resident, family equity, car finance, commercial loans, inventory finance, low deposit, company loans, unit trusts and family trusts, second mortgages, and private loans.

My first years in finance were with NAB (National Australia Bank), as senior lending manager. From seeing interest rates at the highest levels all the way to the low rates of the late 90s, I have seen the best and worst of the Sydney property market.
My background
I started my career in finance in 1995 after graduating from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in marketing. After three years with NAB, I decided to go out on my own in 2001 and become a mortgage broker with realestate.com.au Home Loans. After nearly 6 years I decided that I needed to move my business to the next level and in June 2007 I changed my operations to X Inc and after a company merger am now part of Loan Market.
Community
Living in Western Sydney for my whole life, I have come to appreciate the local community and what it has to offer. So to give back, I try to support wherever possible. I have sponsored many football clubs like Holy Cross Junior Rugby League Club and along with sponsorship, I have given back a percentage of my income back to the local clubs to enable them to provide for the local community of Kellyville.
