Deon Coffey

Mortgage Broker Maitland, Singleton, Muswellbrook

You may be surprised to see how many different ways your mortgage, loans and credit cards can be managed. What so many borrowers aren’t aware of is that the type of loan you secure and how it is managed can provide you with significant benefits over other, less suitable options. The expertise of a mortgage broker will make securing a good financial package much easier. My goal is to provide you with the highest level of professional expertise, so you can live the great Australian dream without the financial stress so many endure.

“I was travelling interstate with work and I didn’t have to chase you. Very professional at your customer service and your work.”
M. Cantwell, East Maitland NSW

First home buyers

The Hunter region is popular with first home buyers and I am extensively involved in assisting this group of borrowers. I work through the entire process, covering every detail to ensure you understand your options completely, and help you to determine what sort of loan will suit you.

I also have a thorough understanding of the First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) and the NSW First Home Plus Scheme and can assist first home buyers to complete the applications for these grants.

Very prompt and approachable – I felt very comfortable asking questions when I was not understanding. Good advice through out our whole purchasing experience.

Investors

As a keen investor myself, I know how important loan structure can be to succeed with your investment. My major priority is to work with your accountant and/or financial planner to ensure your loan structure provides you with all the tax breaks and financial benefits you are entitled to.

Deon was very helpful and knowledgeable about the loans we applied for. From start to finish he kept us informed on what was going on, made it a lot easier for us.

Finance in rural areas and large acreages

Many banks place restrictions on the amount rural borrowers can access, and may ask often intrusive questions. I know which banks and lenders offer suitable loans and have often helped rural borrowers secure finance for acreage and save time simply by knowing how much each lender will allow them to borrow and what paperwork is required.

Loans for miners

I work with a lot of miners in and around Singleton. As miners often work shifts, I am happy to work around their hours and am flexible with appointment times and places. I assist not only in sourcing a home loan, but also in consolidating debt to make the entire sum of borrowings more manageable and quite frequently, less expensive. I am skilled at explaining the loan application and debt consolidation processes in plain English, something my mining clients definitely appreciate at the end of a long shift!

Business networks

Hunter customers

I have lived in local area my whole life and am passionate about helping others in the area to achieve property ownership. While I am based in East Maitland, I happily travel to assist borrowers in Maitland, Metford, Rutherford, Ashtonfield, Aberglasslyn, Singleton, Kurri Kurri, Branxton, Muswellbrook, Thornton, Tenambit and Greenhills with their home loan requirements.

Community involvement

I am a keen participant in Rotary Functions and am looking forward to becoming a member in the near future.

You explained it in such a good way that even I understood it!
