First Home Buyer Grants Northern Territory

In addition to the federal government’s First Home Owners’ Grant, eligible first home buyers in the Northern Territory have access to the First Home Owner Concession Scheme.

The scheme allows a discount on stamp duty costs for first home buyers on the first $540,000 of a first home purchase; the maximum concession is $26, 730.

The First Home Owner Concession Scheme is not means tested, however the scheme applies only to properties with a value below $750,000 for an existing home, and $385,000 for vacant land on which a home is to be built.
