First Home Buyer Grants Western Australia
In addition to the federal government's First Home Owners' Grant, Western Australian first home buyers have access to additional funding via The Home Buyers Assistance Fund.
Western Australia - The home buyers assistance fund
Western Australian first home buyers may be eligible for The Home Buyers Assistance Fund. The fund, established and administered by the Real Estate and Business Agents Supervisory Board (REBA), provides a grant of up to $2,000 for the incidental expenses encountered when purchasing an established or partially built home through a licensed real estate agent.
The purchase price of the property must be $400,000 or less to be eligible, and submissions for the grant must be received by REBA within 90 of contract acceptance. REBA provides a fact sheet on the grant.
