I have been in the mortgage industry since I was 19. Having spent my first few years working up from telesales through loan processing and to credit underwriting support, I gained an excellent knowledge of the entire lending process from within the financial institutions. This intimate understanding, helps me provide a more accurate service when helping select the right lender to fit my clients individual situation. I have been a Loan Market broker since Jan 2006, and have gone from strength to strength in some of the tougher years our industry has seen.
First home buyers
I really enjoy helping people buy their first home and making the great Australian dream a reality for them. I not only understand how exciting a time this is but also how stressful this first purchase can be. About half of my current clients are first home buyers, so my service for these clients is tailored accordingly. I provide all the relevant information they need clearly and concisely, and this helps my first home buyers to feel more confident about making the next step; they feel empowered and ready to buy.
Getting it right from the start is so important, and I always make myself available for my clients to help this happen. I’ve taken calls from clients as they have been signing the contract of sale.
First home buyers are usually looking for the best value mortgage with easy to understand conditions and requirements; often lenders provide specialised offers and products aimed at this type of borrower, so keeping up to date is really important. I really get great satisfaction out of this whole process!

Low-Doc Loans
I am able to assist self-employed borrowers who haven’t got fully prepared financials with their loan requirements, usually through an application for a low-doc (low documentation) loan. In recent times, lenders have adjusted their lending criteria for self-employed borrowers, all with very different requirements with different packages. I take great care to assist my low-doc clients to choose a home loan to suit their needs.
