First Home Buyers
First home buyers often require guidance and expert advice when it comes to finding the right home loan. In some cases I encourage first home buyers to have their parents attend their first appointment; being a parent I know what a big step getting a first mortgage is. I also encourage first home buyers to formulate a budget, and am happy to help them with this if they don’t already have one. A budget is extremely important, as it makes clients aware of what they can really afford to pay off a mortgage.
Investment Loans
If a home owner has enough equity available in an existing property, he/she can use this equity to assist with the purchase of an investment property. Normally clients will have an interest-only mortgage against their investment property, which enables them to pay extra funds off their own mortgage. However, everyone is different and when I meet with clients I take the time to understand their unique situation and recommend loans that will suit their individual needs.
Loans for the Self-Employed
As I am also self-employed, I understand well the financial needs of my self-employed clients. When considering which lenders or products we may need to use to get the home loan or business loan approved, where applicable I often offer lo doc loans. Lo doc loans are helpful when clients have not as yet completed their tax return. Conditions do apply but I am happy to discuss the different options available.
