There’s been a lot of commentary in the media lately about the role of a broker and our relationship with banks. Some of you have received questions from your customers about this so the Loan Market marketing team have prepared a customer letter for your use.

CBA Broker quality report released
Part of the outcomes and recommendations of the Combined Industry Forum (CIF), made up of all major lenders, aggregators and associations, was to have a more transparent and even flow of performance data and information between lenders and aggregators.
The CBA Broker Quality Report is one of the first to do just that; benchmark each brand against key categories.
Loan Market came in the top one or two quartile for every category assessed by CBA. Categories assessed include arrears, utilisation, conversion, monthly living expenses, submission efficiency and voice of customer.
Importantly, Loan Market ranked in the top quartile for HEMs or Monthly Living Expenses. This category will continue to be a integral part of being a successful and compliant broker.
As we continue to receive these reports from other lenders we will share the results with you.

Final weeks to sort your broker photos
It is the final weeks until all brokers need to have their new (and awesome) photography done to suit our fresh and bold look.
Your state administrators are organising the final photoshoots for brokers. Contact them for more information to book yours in.
Or you can also arrange your own shoot but remember to follow the guidelines and send a test proof to the marketing team for approval before your shoot. We want to ensure your broker image makes you look like the professional you are!
The test proof doesn't have to be of you, it can be of anyone the photographer has quick access to. The purpose of the test shoot is to make sure the photographer follows the guidelines and gets the lighting and shadow right.

Sam’s sixth CEO Sleepout
2018 marks Sam White’s sixth year taking part in the Vinnies CEO sleepout, a great cause to provide essential support to tens of thousands of Australians.
Sam aims to raise $10,000, which will go towards helping those who are facing homelessness. The monies raised will be used in a number of ways, including; feeding families in distress, providing emergency accommodation for families in crisis, relocating individuals to accommodation services, providing support programs and helping to pay rent for those facing eviction. Loan Market Double Bay’s Daniel Pym has been announced as a finalist in the Residential Mortgage Broker of the Year category at the REB Awards. The awards is run by real estate industry publication rebonline.com.au.
