Loan Market Mortgage Broker servicing Darch, Madeley, Landsdale and surrounding suburbs

About Andre Pretorius

Following a period of more than 30 years in retail and business banking, I joined Loan Market as a mortgage and finance broker. My aim is to be recognised as a broker that provides clients with direct access to lenders, and who manages a client’s finances as I would my own.

Whatever your finance needs are – personal or business – it makes good sense to get a broker on your side. If you don’t have the time to go from lender to lender, comparing products, features and costs, why not give me a call? I have access to a panel of over 30 banks and lenders and what’s more, I do all the legwork and paperwork for you.

Property Finance

Pre-approving your home loan

A home loan pre-approval is a great way to ensure you know how much you can afford to pay for a property before you even start looking. A written pre-approval can also give you an advantage when negotiating on a property with a vendor, as opposed to someone who has no pre-approval or finance in place. Home loan pre-approvals are generally valid for about three months. I will help you compare lenders and products to find the solution that’s right for you.

Paying the deposit

Most banks and lenders require a minimum deposit of up-to 5 per cent of the value of the property you are purchasing. Depending on the lender and your individual situation, you may be able to fund your deposit from a number of sources, not just your personal savings.

First home buyers

Buying your first home is an exciting experience, but there is a lot to think about.

My role is to simplify the process for you, and assist in comparing products and lenders, so you choose the loan that’s right for you. If you qualify for the First Home Owners Grant, or any other state government first home buyer's assistance, I will help you fill out the paperwork too.

“Andre was highly professional, efficient, taking us through the whole PROCESS of purchasing our first home with patience, understanding and helping where ever he can. The feeling of trust is important. Andre is warm personality and showed that he cares for us. He did get the best deal for our circumstances. He stood by his word. He always keep appointed time. He was always available, just a phone call or e-mail away. Andre deserves our respect and recommendations. He is highly skilled and experienced financial broker. The best we could wish for." - Natasa, Balga WA 6061
"Andre has been professional and made us feel at ease from the first day. You could phone him with a question at any time and he always made you feel as if you were his only client. We were on overseas holiday during the application and we trusted Andre to do all the necessary to get our loan approved. We never had any doubt that he would get it all done. What peace of mind. Invaluable." - Adriana, Ellenbrook WA 6069

Investment properties

Property investment can be a smart wealth creation strategy if you get it right – but that doesn’t just mean finding the right property – it needs the right investment finance as well. Your investment loan package should be tailored to your investment strategy and goals. I work closely with your financial planner and accountant to make that happen. Whether you’re an experienced property investor with a big portfolio, or just starting out with your first property, I can help you get the right investment loan for your circumstances.

"I have dealt with numerous brokers over the last 14 years of purchasing personal and investment properties. Andre has by far been the best broker I have ever dealt with. He has good product knowledge and has always shown our best interest to be a priority not his commission. Andre goes far beyond what is required to help us. I used to shop around for brokers but not anymore. Would always use him and recommend him to anyone." - Zaw, Wannanup WA 6210

Refinancing an existing mortgage

Your financial health is as important as your personal health, and there are a number of reasons when changing your mortgage conditions makes sense. A change in interest rates is one reason. By changing from a fixed rate to a variable rate, or vice-versa, or even combining rates in a split loan can save you money and put cash back in your pocket. Another reason for refinancing your mortgage is to access any equity you’ve already built up in your home, again making cash available for other expenses, such as further home improvements or that dream holiday.

The most important thing to consider is if refinancing will place you in a better position than you would be if you stayed with your current loan. I will assist you in comparing your current and projected costs and any savings, and if you decide that refinancing is the right move for you, I will help you complete all the necessary paperwork.

“Andre was very professional in giving us all the options, without pushing us in any direction or putting pressure on us to make a quick decision.” - Jaco, Landsdale, WA 6065

“Excellent information provided very friendly and helpful service.” - Sam, Wanneroo, WA 6065

“Andre is very thorough and he looks for the very best deal for your circumstances. He also makes sure that paperwork is in order 1st time so no unnecessary back and forth with errors.” - David, Tapping, WA 6065

"He was very professional and went out his way to get us the correct loan which suits our needs." - Coenrad, Ashby, WA 6065

Construction loan

Sometimes the hardest part about building or renovating a home is organising the finance. If you’ve ever done it before, you’ll know it can be trickier than your average mortgage. Not only can I help you find a great loan, I can also talk you through ways to reduce costs and maximise the value of the build.

An appointment with me is stress-free and obligation free, and could make all the difference to the affordability of your project.

“His service was excellent and he always kept you up to date with the progress of the application.” - Deon, Jindalee, WA 6036

Self-employed and business finance

If you are self-employed or run a small business there’s no reason securing a loan should be difficult. In today’s competitive market your needs are catered for by a large range of lenders offering suitable home and business finance.

Whether you’re looking to fund a new development, purchase a warehouse or buy new equipment, a business loan may be the only way to make it happen. But just as there are many reasons for a business loan, there are also a number of loans available.

Many self-employed borrowers also need a loan that isn’t quite standard. I can help you compare products and lenders – so you end up with the loan, or refinance solution, that’s right for you.

“Friendly, honest and genuine person who does his job with passion. Extremely rare these days!” - Gilbert, Lower Chittering, WA 6084

Personal Loans and Debt Consolidation

Consolidating your finances can be a handy solution if you are struggling with a number of repayments, such as your home loan, credit cards, or car loans. Consolidation works by combining all those debts into one loan – either your home loan, which is generally the debt with the lowest interest rate, or a personal loan, if the home loan is not suited.

But if debt isn’t a problem, and you still need to get your hands on extra cash for whatever reason (car repairs, home improvements, medical expenses , maybe even a wedding), then a personal loan may be just what you need.

But just as there are many reasons for a personal loan, there are also a number of different loans available. I can help you choose from a panel of lenders, so you end up with the loan that’s right for you.

Asset Finance

Whether it’s a sports car, a family car, a caravan, motorbike or boat, not many of us have the cash on hand to buy a vehicle outright. But with access to a wide range of lenders we can find the right solution for you.

Are you ready to get into the driver’s seat of your vehicle today?
