Shilo started her career in retail banking over a decade ago, and ultimately became a Big 4 Branch manager who led her team to award winning success. Not content with kicking goals in just one part of finance, Shilo moved to broking where her razor-sharp intellect could provide a more specialised service to her clients. She loves working in all types of residential lending from first home buyers to seasoned investors expanding their portfolio. Her success comes from understanding that every customer interaction is novel, and requires a build from the ground up approach to maximise the best possible outcomes. Shilo is a mother of two beautiful girls, and takes setting an example of kindness and hard work really seriously. She travelled Europe and Asia extensively in her twenties, and has developed a love for fashion and art (it’s a continental thing; you really have to travel to get it, you know?). She’s also a brilliant dessert cook, so after realising your property dreams with her feel free to ask about nailing your creme brulee.

In very simple terms, Bree absolutely loves helping people achieve their home ownership goals. She has extensive experience in the construction industry, so combined with her broking acumen she is prodigiously helpful when it comes to niche construction finance lending. The heart and soul of her operation as a broker is making sure her customer journey is streamlined, stress-free and rewarding in every sense of the word! She knows everyone is different, and so takes the time to ensure every customer gets the right tailor-made finance solution. Bree is a self-professed lover of food and cooking, although she has self-confessed to loving avocado and vegemite too so maybe take her foodlover status (and any meals she prepares) with a grain of salt. She also loves snowboarding, but unlike broking isn’t very good at it!

Sarah has over 10 years’ experience working in senior lending and finance management roles, this breadth of experience means Sarah has expert knowledge of home loan products and options offered across the board, while also providing independent advice tailored to clients’ personal needs. Sarah has a wealth of experience in home loans, investment loans, construction loans, refinancing and debt consolidation. Sarah’s favourite area of expertise is helping first homeowners to make informed decisions and find the best finance option based on their immediate and long-term goals. Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time at Geelong’s beautiful beaches with her young family and French bulldog, Mario, who runs the family!

Alyssa is our inhouse self-employed finance expert, who is so across commercial, business and self-managed superfund loans that she has made it an artform. After spending years with major banks, she found a love for helping self-employed clients in commercial banking but realised she could better help these clients as a broker with more varied and flexible solutions. In fact, she kicks such serious posterior she was recently awarded MPA Mortgage Brokers “Gun of the year” Award for her exceptional work in growing the business and success of the people she works with. Outside of broking, Alyssa is an unapologetic cat lover and she has two dance-obsessed girls whose classes take up most of her weekend!

Lanie is just like the Surf Coast she’s from - fun, laid back and everyone is grateful they went to see her! She’s spent three decades in finance, twenty of those with major lenders, so it’s safe to say she knows finance better than anyone. She got into broking because she has a profound love for helping families & business owners make smart decisions, whether it be buying or upgrading homes, or investing in residential or commercial property. Simplifying what is daunting is a real passion, and she’s got a knack for demystifying finance that you can only get from years of industry experience. In her spare time she runs around after her superstar 12 year old son and props up the Surf Coast dining economy with her love of eating out! She also loves to travel and is suffering through another European holiday this year, the poor thing. #poorlanie

Shane is a Torquay local and has been in the real estate industry for over a decade. He purchased his first property at 24 (yep… we also had other, far less beneficial priorities at that age) and now likes to use all his knowledge to help others get into or advance in the housing market. He’s basically a huge asset to your team - Shane works alongside your agent and conveyancer to make the whole transaction much smoother. Whether homeownership is still just a twinkle in your eye, or you want to build your portfolio, Shane is your guy. When he isn’t finding the right loan for his clients or helping them achieve their goals, he loves hooking up the caravan and setting off with his wife Lauren and two children. They’re the type of family that enjoys mountain biking and running in their leisure time. Add some coffee, and he is a very happy (caffeinated) man.

Her strong banking background and love of great customer service means she is the perfect person to answer your questions and make sure your home loan application runs smoothly. Bec has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to owner occupier and investment loans, but her bread and butter is helping first home buyers undertake one of the most exciting decisions in their lives. She will break down the bank jargon and keep you well-informed all the way to home loan approval.

Eliza is our settlement manager, with her experience and knowledge, she guides her team to provide the best service possible. She supports you throughout your settlement process and beyond. She organises your loan documents and takes care of all the correspondence with solicitors and lenders so your settlement is successful, and on-time. With this wealth of knowledge and experience Eliza is an expert in construction loans. Building can be a stressful few months, but Eliza will look after all progress payments from start to finish of construction to ensure your build is as smooth & stress-free as possible. Eliza enjoys spending her freetime dining out with her girlfriends. She aspires to be a snack connoisseur. You can refer to her as "Snack Queen".

Dayna provides support to our brokers across a wide range of activities. She is responsible for assisting our brokers with all aspects of lending, credit analysis, policies and servicing. In addition to her lending support, Dayna is also responsible for managing our print and digital media as well as our social media presence. Originally from Bendigo, Dayna has made her home on the beautiful coast of Geelong with her partner and beloved wrinkly boxer. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, hitting the beach, and sharing good food and wine with friends.

Tess has worked in a number of roles within Loan Market Geelong. After excelling in our settlements team, she took this expertise and transitioned to our lending support team. Tess is capable of assisting you at any stage of your loan application, whether it is submitting and securing approval for your loan or finalising settlement so that you can move in. She is a valuable asset to our entire team and brings all-round good vibes in the office. Outside of the office, Tess is a regular on the netball court and is handy with a fishing rod. She also loves a road trip - often driving to the Murray River to visit family.

A resident of the Lovely Banks region, Cass knows the local area and is passionate about helping the community. She has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, giving her extensive knowledge and understanding for clients with different goals and circumstances. Cass helps support the team to lodge loan applications and ensure a smooth process for our clients. Cass lives an active lifestyle with her husband and three kids, plus border collie and a cat with no tail. They love being outdoors as a family and you will often catch Cass at the Geelong Hockey Club where she plays for a number of teams. Afterward you’ll find her sampling a local drop or winding down with a G&T.

When you enter our office, one of the first smiling faces you will see is Ash. She brings a bubbly, vibrant personality to the team and is always up for a chat - including suggesting the best places in town for coffee. If we had an in-house chef, it would be Ash - she’s always whipping up amazing dishes and is quite the connoisseur. She balances this love of food out by being a regular at reformer Pilates.

Chloe worked in conveyancing for four years, giving her plenty of experience in property transactions and understanding the process from start to finish. She knows what is needed to get the purchase over the line, making her a great asset to our settlements team. Chloe is a bit of a sports fanatic, playing netball and being across the latest AFL, NRL and cricket matches. In her spare time she is hatching plans for future travels to see the world.

Lee has a number of areas of expertise - these include lodging loans and sausage dogs. He has four years’ experience in retail banking and lending, giving him excellent insight into the loan lodgement process and understanding what is needed to get a loan across the line. When not at work, Lee is usually spending his time at the Sunday markets or scouring the op shops for a bargin. Fun fact - Lee loves anything apple flavoured. Except apples. Confused? Us too.

With more than a decade’s experience in finance under her (likely purple) belt, Rach is our lending support specialist and is here to help get your loan application across the line. She’s worked at a bank and in mortgage broking, but moved to Ocean Grove with her two cats Chester and Oliver (aka Bearsie) to take advantage of the laidback lifestyle. Rach always has a big smile and amazing nail art. If she were to choose an expert topic on Mastermind, it would be street art.

Shanai is currently on maternity leave with her gorgeous baby girl. With over five years of experience as both a Client Service Manager and accredited Broker, Shanai will ensure your deal is submitted to the lender seamlessly and in the best possible light. With a background in real estate, she understands both sides of a property transaction, and what information and communication you need throughout the loan application process. Originally from Melbourne, Shanai is about to make the move ‘down the coast’ to join the rest of the team. She enjoys being outdoors, at the beach, hiking and going on adventures with her partner and dogs Finn and Fern.
