After a successful career spanning over 20 years as an Interest Rate broker in the Financial Markets, I decided it was time to move on and think about what I would do for the next 15-20 years of my working life.
A friend suggested looking at Mortgage Broking, after all I always had offered good advice on when would be a good time to go Fixed or stay Variable. After looking into it, if filled a lot of requirements, I could retain my broking skills, retain client facing contact, which I enjoyed, and use my interest rate knowledge to help my customers.
Being a broker I always enjoyed helping my customers get set in the trades that they were looking at and also at the price they were interested in. The philosophy is exactly the same in the in the Mortgage space, Client satisfaction! You can rest assured that I will always have your best interests at heart and will be working hard to get you the deal you deserve.
A lot of people ask “Why should I use a Mortgage Broker?” Time, Convenience and Knowledge. These day’s people lead such busy lives that they are time poor, they just don’t have the time to research the thousands of mortgage products that are out there.
It’s my job to know the majority of the products and by sitting down and talking to you and listening to you to find out what it is you are looking for in a mortgage, and if your not sure to explain how products work. Then I do the research for you, we have over 30 lenders to select from offering over 800 products. We also build relationships with the banks and more often than not are able to get a rate that is better than advertised.
Then the best part for you is we fill in the application and submit it to your chosen lender, stay on top of the application process and follow the loan through it’s approval process. You probably wouldn’t even set foot in a bank! I want to take away that stress of getting a mortgage and dealing with a bank etc to give you more time to look for that home you want.

I have access to over 30 lenders offering in excess of 700 products between them. People are just too busy these to have the time to do all the research themselves to find the most appropriate loan at the right interest rate. Believe it or not, the lowest interest rate might not be the best for you.
