With a background in training and development and residential lending, I understand that clients still want to have a relationship with one person when it comes to matters relating to finance. People have become frustrated with the need to explain their situation over and over every time they need to apply for finance. Running a mortgage broking business was the perfect way to provide the relationship that clients are looking for - some of my original clients from 13 years ago still remark on how they can’t imagine organising finance for themselves!
I meet with you at your home or office to discuss your unique situation and determine your financial objectives in relation to borrowing money. I then help you choose the most appropriate loan from our panel of lenders which includes Australia’s best known banks, building societies and non-bank lenders. Why approach a bank directly and limit your options to their standard suite of in-house loans? Who says they have the right deal for you anyway?
Part of my service is to explain your options to you, so you can decide on what you wish to do. If that means you decide not to proceed with a loan application, then that is fine. I don’t charge a fee to come and meet with you, and our initial appointments are obligation free. Not only can I save you a lot of your precious time, I do it at no cost to you as I am paid directly by the Lender upon settlement of your loan.
I will work with you to complete all required paperwork, liaising with your real estate agent and solicitor/conveyancer as appropriate, and to resolve any queries and problems that may occur along the way.
My service to you doesn’t finish once your property purchase is complete. I stay in touch with you on a regular basis to ensure that your loan continues to meet your financial needs, but also to help you identify opportunities for a future property purchase - be it for a new home or to build an investment property portfolio.

I understand that the property buying process can at times be stressful - one of the best ways to deal with this is to understand what is happening at each step. Accordingly, I spend as much time as required educating my clients and helping them understand the key issues that may surround their application and how the lender will be dealing with those.
I have more than 30 years’ experience in the finance industry, including 13 years as a mortgage broker, but also holding senior training and development and lending positions with Westpac and Suncorp. I am an Accredited Mortgage Consultant and member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA). Members of the MFAA must adhere to an industry Code of Practice which requires professionalism, ethical behaviour, transparency and a commitment to the client.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. I am also a member of the Credit and Investments Ombudsman, an independent dispute resolution service, and I maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance.
