100% family-owned Loan Market Group takes home top industry honour

Family-owned Loan Market Group’s investment in technology, growing broker businesses and compliance has won it the coveted Aggregator of the Year (>500 brokers) title at the 2019 Australian Mortgage Awards.

Industry judges awarded Loan Market Group the top honour in recognition of its commitment to saving brokers time, keeping them safe, helping them find and keep clients and growing their businesses.

Accepting the award at Sydney’s Star Casino, Executive Chairman Sam White said he was proud of the way the Group has equipped brokers for the challenges of modern broking.

It was the second time Loan Market Group had won the Aggregator of the Year (2018) award but Mr White said the 2019 accolade was the ‘most satisfying’.

“We want to be more than an aggregator for our brokers,” he said. “We want to partner with them, and navigate the new industry landscape together.

“Our technology platform, MyCRM, supports and enables brokers to best service their customers and saves them time; our automated marketing solutions help brokers find clients and keep them; online learning, hiring toolkits and revenue plug-ins grow their businesses; and an integrated tech and compliance ecosystem keeps our brokers safe within an increasingly regulated industry.

“Complementing our integrated tech solutions are our business coaches and trainers who have the expertise for brokers to succeed.”

“But what makes this award most satisfying is that our efforts were judged against the backdrop of industry uncertainty. It shows that we’ve leaned-in, adapted and prepared our brokers to get the best outcome for their customers in the post-Hayne Royal Commission world, ensuring our businesses have a future in this industry.”

It was a night of success for the Loan Market Group with network members also taking home accolades, including:

Damian Medici, Broker of the Year - Productivity

Josh Bartlett - Loan Market Bayside, Brokerage of the Year (1-5 staff)

Joining the winners was a long list of finalists from Loan Market, including:

Maria Nicoli - Loan Market Caroline Springs, Broker of the Year - Insurance (Mortgage Protection)

Nick Gurry - Loan Market One Network Broking, Brokerage of the Year (6-20 staff)

Mr White said: “I want to congratulate all our winners and finalists on their stellar years, as well as their contemporaries who were recognised tonight. Their commitment to their customers is unrivalled and a big reason why six out of 10 residential loans in Australia originate through brokers.”
