Daniel Pym Take's Out Best Residential Broker

Loan Market’s Daniel Pym took out one of the biggest awards at last night’s NSW Better Business Awards in Sydney, taking home the title of Best Residential Broker.

Mr Pym was recognised for his exceptional customer service and business strategy and for doubling his business’ volume in the last year while increasing his Net Promoter Score, which ranks businesses on the likelihood of their customers referring them to friends and family.

Daniel also became a Justice of the Peace to facilitate document signing, in a bid to save clients’ time and reduce errors and rework.

Upon winning Mr Pym, thanked his support network including his strong working relationship with sister-brand, Ray White Double Bay.

“I am extremely humbled to win this award and would like to thank the ongoing support of my loyal customer base and the entire team at Ray White Double Bay,” he said.

Mr Pym believes one of the greatest impacts a broker can have for their clients is the after settlement relationship.
“I’ve identified that one of the biggest frustrations customers have with banks is that once they’ve settled a loan, they never hear from them again, we offer regular touch points and a yearly interest rate review,” he said.

“In one of these scheduled follow ups I’ve been able to secure a client a 1.35% margin discount, dropping their investment loan from 4.93% to 4.25% and saving them $10,880 per year, at no cost.”

Daniel was also nominated for Broker of the Year, an achievement only possible by winning one of five key categories on the night.
