Help Sam raise money for The Smith Family

On the 9th and 10th of March, Sam will be supporting the Smith Family Fundraiser by trudging, biking, running, crawling and swimming over 100kms, while camping out in Kangaroo Valley, NSW, for two days. Given he hasn't ridden a bike since school, it’s bound to be an interesting and probably painful event.

The fundraiser helps fuel critical work to improve the future of disadvantaged Australian kids through education. The Smith Family is a terrific charity that offers a hand up, not a hand out.

A charity with a twist

This fundraiser is different because Sam is one of 70 participants who have each contributed their own money to cover the cost of entering and hosting the event, so every cent of any donation made goes towards this terrific cause.

How you can help

If you are in a position to support the Smith Family and help make a difference to the many vulnerable kids in our society who need our help.

Changes to Loan Market Go pricing structure

Advantedge have received feedback that the pricing of their combo fixed rate loans can be confusing and complex. Effective Friday 24 February 2017, they will no longer offer their Combo Fixed Rate Discount. Customers will continue to be able to take out a mix of fixed and variable rate lending, but the Combo Fixed Rate Discount will no longer apply. Existing customers with a Combo Fixed Rate Discount will continue to receive the discount until the expiry of their fixed rate term.

Pipeline applications

Loans must be submitted and formally approved by 5pm AEDT on Thursday 23 February 2017 in order to receive the Combo Fixed Rate Discount.

If you have any questions, please contact your Loan Market Go Business Development Manager.

Competitions and promotions - What to include in T&C’s

There are a multitude of competitions or promotions you can run in order to spark interest about your business and help you get more leads. Each state has their own set of rules and regulations when it comes to competitions. As a rule of thumb it’s best to run a competition involving a game of skill rather than a game of chance. A game of skill is when the you ask the participant to answer a question or describe an answer in 25 word or less. If you choose to do anothother type of competition other than a game of skill, you will need to check if you need a permit in your state.

T&C’s Template

Use the template below as a starting point. Not every component may be applicable to your campaign.

Prize is XXX worth $XXX. When you settle a loan between Month/Date/Year - Month/Date/Year, minimum loan amount is XXX. Prize will be drawn at random on Month/Date/Year Winner with be contacted via phone and email and be sent via mail. If the prize isn’t claimed, there will be a redraw. By accepting to enter the competition you agree to be contacted for marketing purposes by the promoter. To view our privacy policy visit www.loanmarket.com.au/privacy-policy. Can not be redeemed for cash. The promoter is not responsible if the XXX is lost, stolen or damaged in transit. If you’d prefer not to receive marketing messages from me, no problem, just email or call me.

You should use the template to build your T&C’s but always run it past Marketing by sending it to marketing@loanmarket.com.au so they can make sure nothing has been left out.
