Loan Market dominates with 14 finalists in the 2019 Australian Mortgage Awards

Loan Market has secured 14 finalists in the 2019 Australian Mortgage Awards (AMAs), leading the pack with more finalists than any other franchise aggregator.

Loan Market brokers and teams have been named in some of the most prestigious categories including Broker of the Year - Productivity, Commercial Broker of the Year, Brokerage of the Year (1-5 staff and 6-20 staff), and Best Customer Service from an Individual Office.

Loan Market Group had also been named a finalist in the category Brokerage of the Year (Over 500 brokers) after taking home the award at last year’s AMAs and winning the Technology Platform of the Year at the ABA’s earlier this year.

The AMAs is an independent awards event for the mortgage industry, recognising excellence and highlighting the outstanding achievements of those in the business.

Josh Bartlett, director of Loan Market Bayside in Melbourne, has been named a finalist in two awards, Broker of the Year - Productivity and Brokerage of the Year 1-5 staff. Last year, Mr Bartlett was the winner of both awards and was announced the overall Australian Broker of the Year.

Daniel Green of BYOB business Green Finance has also been recognised in two categories for his work in commercial lending; Commercial Broker of the Year and Broker of the Year Specialist Lending.

Two Loan Market businesses have also been named finalists for Brokerage of the Year (6-20 staff). Loan Market One Network Broking, headed up by Nick Gurry, is in the running for the prestigious award, as well as Loan Market’s most recent BYOB business Entourage Finance, directed by Damien Roylance in Victoria.

Loan Market Executive Chairman Sam White congratulated all the finalists on their achievements and said that the wide recognition across the brand was a great reflection on the company and their talent.

“I’d like to congratulate our members whose commitment to excellence and best practice has been recognised in this year’s Australian Mortgage Awards. The past year has been a tumultuous one for the industry, but it fills me with pride to see how our brokers have continued to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.”

Mr White said Loan Market’s presence in the AMAs has grown since 2014 - where Loan Market contested in only three categories.

“This is a reflection of the outstanding talent we house. I’m also a strong believer that brokers should be in business for themselves, but not by themselves, that's why we offer Loan Market businesses the best systems and support tools to ensure they are spending time on the thing that matters most; their customer.

“Once again the Loan Market family have proven their dedication to excellence and ability to deliver great customer outcomes and award-winning service,” said Mr White.

The AMAs will take place on Friday 18th October at The Star in Sydney.
