Loan Market Hits Jackpot with 10 AMA Finalists

At the upcoming Australian Mortgage Awards at the Star Casino in Sydney, 10 Loan Market brokers and corporate staff members have been selected as finalists in categories recognising business excellence, customer service and community engagement.
The annual awards hosted by Key Media are the result of a process that begun in March and will be announced October 18th in front of an estimated crowd of 700 industry peers.

Leading the way for nominations is Loan Market Manningham broker Daniel Esposito and his office, who are up for awards in three different categories. Alex Shumsky and his Loan Market office in Oakleigh, which includes Loan Market Rookie of the Year Li Dong, are first time finalists in the Brokerage of the Year - Under 5 Staff category.

For the second year in a row, a Loan Market Melbourne broker is up for the Quality Young Gun of the Year - Josh Gilbert aims to repeat Josh Bartlett’s win last year. Mr Bartlett, the dual award winner from the same event last year and 2013 ABA Newcomer of the Year, is a finalist in the Broker of the Year - Finance category.

In the highly competitive, Best Customer Service category, Loan Market is represented by two of its all-time best: Denise Sisavanh-Chan of Sydney and Sandra Mallia of Port Melbourne.

NSW BDM Melissah Douglas, a Loan Market employee of 12 years, earned a well deserved nomination for BDM of the Year for an outstanding year of Broker support and recruitment. Rounding out the finalist nominations, Loan Market was named a finalist in the Best Community Engagement award - a result of the impact its HOPE program has had combating homelessness throughout Australia.

Loan Market director Mark De Martino said he had nothing but praise for the Loan Market finalists and was excited for the event.

“By no means are these easy categories to be selected as finalists in. Getting our team up for 10 awards is a huge follow up to our Major Brokerage of the Year and Josh Bartlett’s Newcomer of the Year wins at the Australian Broking Awards last month.

2013 AMA Awards - Loan Market Finalists
