Leading independent mortgage broker Loan Market is holding an information night at South Brisbane for people seeking to buy their first property.
Loan Market brokers Christian Paterson and Geoff Tesch are running the free first home buyers seminar in conjunction with Ray White CBD andSouth Brisbane.
The information night will be held at the Ray White Property Centre,62 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, from 6pm-7pm on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
The first home buyer seminars have been held around Australia and include advice on how to obtain housing finance, details of the benefits from state and federal government measures as well as insights into the local property market.
Mr Paterson said there would be a variety of speakers on topics ranging from how to obtain the First Home Owner’s Grant, finding the right property, the costs involved in purchasing and the legal processes involved in buying a property.
“These seminars are designed to help people purchase their first home with the least amount of stress,” he said.
“Buying a home is the most important financial decision any one can make and it pays to have as much information about the process as possible.
“The seminar will take people through the pre-approval process, offer advice on applying for the First Home Owner’s Grant and outline what home loans are available and explain how to prepare for successful negotiation or bidding at auction.”
Mr Tesch said the stable interest rate environment had led to an increased number of enquiries from first time buyers.
“The reinstatement of stamp duty concessions in Queensland is another incentive for people looking to break the rent cycle and realise their dream of home ownership,” he said.
The seminar will be held at 62 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, with attendees to arrive at 5.30pm. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Marianne Brownjohn on 0431 403 269 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
