Townsville Mortgage Broker Starring in National Feature
A Townsville mortgage broker has been selected to star in a six-month feature about new-to-industry mortgage brokers by the award winning Adviser Magazine.
Loan Market Townsville mortgage broker, Renee Ashelford was carefully selected by the journalists at the Adviser to take part a ‘Starting Out’ feature which will chronicle her journey into mortgage brokering and the Townsville property market.
Ms Ashelford, who was is a long time resident of Townsville, had been a personal assistant at a local financial planning firm for ten years before deciding to become a mortgage broker.
“To me Townsville is such a strong community with some excellent opportunities, when I got the chance to join the local Loan Market office, I jumped at it,” Ms Ashelford said.
Over the next six months Ms Ashelford will provide entries into the magazine where she will talk about the local market and the challenges it faces and also the opportunities it has available.
“I’m looking forward to working with a variety of buyers and helping them find the property they want. There are some very strong investment opportunities here and I know the banks offering some significant discounts to certain types of Townville buyers.
Ms Ashelford said that she was quite humbled by her selection in the feature which was a highly contested by several other brokers who worked in capital cities
“Personally, it’s a great start to my brokering career to be in this magazine, but I’m also very happy that I can talk about the Townsville market and it’s great businesses and residents.”
