Whistleblowing

Loan Market seeks to encourage the raising of concerns about poor or unacceptable practice and misconduct in the workplace by developing a culture where they can be raised without fear of reprisal or feeling threatened by doing so.

An effective whistleblowing policy and program is one aspect of Loan Market’s overall approach to ensure compliance with regulation and prevent and detect misconduct.

Not only is the whistleblowing policy part of the internal control and risk management framework, it’s an important part of driving continuous improvement and ultimately improving outcomes for clients. It’s critical that any member of staff, employee of or principal of a Franchisee have the confidence to raise problems and speak up.

For further guidance in relation to whistleblowing refer to the Whistleblowing Policy under Important Documents in the Resources tab within MyCRM or email compliance@loanmarket.com.au.
