BOQ have a policy to allow for non-face to face meetings. They don’t use VOI, however there is a Certified ID Form that the customer completes and sends back to the broker with copies of the ID before the interview.

During the interview (any form of video), the customer needs to hold up one of the ID so the broker can check against what they have on the form, and take a screenshot of the ID being held up with the customers face. The ID in the screenshot does not need to be clear, it is merely the verification that the broker has checked it.

Effective immediately, we have also amended our policy to accept digital signatures of application forms, to help you work remotely with your customers.
