Al and Imo are a husband-and-wife team making beautiful furniture from their home on the Surf Coast of Victoria. Their custom-made, timber bedroom furniture has been turning heads on Instagram and beyond since 2016.
Over the span of four years, they built their unique, dream home. Using Al’s skills with carpentry and Imo’s design skills, the couple crafted and created a home to suit their family and provide them with the lifestyle they always wanted.
“The dream was always to build something from scratch the way we wanted to, to raise our family in,” Imo said.
“We wanted it to be a big enough space for our family, but not too big that we were all separated.”
The result is what they call The Good Day House – a modern, energy-efficient family home that showcases Al’s carpentry skills and Imo’s design flair and also provides space to run their business.
Recently they worked with a Loan Market broker to reduce the interest rate on their home loan and set a long-term plan to get themselves in a better financial position into the future.
