I have nearly 7 years experience providing many types of loans, along with direct personal experience obtaining loans for residential and investment properties. It's good to be able to assist first home buyers into the market by drawing on that experience and making a difference to home ownership or first time investors alike. Not everyone needs the same in a home loan. I take the time to understand your individual needs before suggesting a loan structure and short list of loans that meet those needs- such as interest only, low interest rate, honeymoon rates, a line of credit or pro-pack loan.

And whilst I have experience in assisting a wide array of borrowers, I most enjoy assisting first home buyers, those looking to refiance, and borrowers looking to enter the investment market.

First Home Buyers

A little over three years ago, I assisted a first home buyer with a 97% loan. The client had a short work history and requirements for a home loan package structure that included a fixed rate and a small Line of Credit. And while home loans for first home buyers are a bit different in the current market, it pays to check out your options - you may be surprised what you can achieve.

He has recently entered the investment market, concluding a purchase of a rental property. The client's investment loan structure involved refinancing his existing property, which helped him to avoid Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), and featured an interest only split and a market leading low rate whilst allowing for flexibility in its operation.

Refinancing Your Home Loan

I enjoy and get real satisfaction from refinancing a customer away from an “ugly� loan to the right for their needs now and into the future, including debt consolidation and providing the means for future investment.

I have recently assisted a local couple to refinance an existing investment property located interstate, in order to improve their tax benefit whilst providing funds to complete a purchase of a second investment property in Melbourne. Of great importance to this investor was to keep any upfront costs very low - this was achieved along with a competitive rate, no LMI payment and a better tax outcome.
